No, listen.
Yes, listen.
That one topic or that major tea that you’ve been telling your therapist, your mom, your best friend, or your spouse over and over again is the one that needs mad attention.
Your attention. Because there is something more. Like something knocking at your heart’s door, waiting and wanting to come in and talk to you—to keep talking to you. To stay, to admit that they so badly want to mend things and care for your valuable connection, to take breaks that open your eyes to what’s really happening, to hold tight to an important underrated relationship.
A most significant friendship that connects all friendships—who we are to ourselves, and who we are becoming when we instill Truth inside ourselves. When we learn to instill the peace of God in us.
When you share your heart with the world and the world decides not to reciprocate the way you expect—it’s okay.
Strength comes as you share your truth. There’s kindness in remembering that relationships and creativity are not result-based. You, are NOT result-based.
Our creativity and relationships are things with life—they are alive. A life that can thrive in the growth of processing all things large and small, challenging and invisible. A life that does not stop when an event finishes, but continues in the journey of what can be.
Everything about who we are is connected to the world God created for us. It is up to us to discover what that looks like. Even when the decision you're drawn to feels frightening and uncomfortable.
Below is a video that inspired me to write this post.
The strength to bear all things comes from accessing the power that comes from the Atonement of Jesus Christ. Trials and tribulations won’t be completely removed—just like things that can break you apart to make you stronger.
We are invited to ask God, to share our truth with Him, and in return, He eagerly wants to reveal the Truth of who He is and what He can do for us when we let Him—He is the Truth and the Source of Light that reflects the spark of who we are as His child.
Share your truth,
do it for the sake of believing in yourself,
just as God has always believed in you,
you won’t regret it.
Here’s a quote I feel impressed to share,
We have received important direction for the future. My prayer is that the Spirit has spoken to you directly about things the Lord would have you do.
The future is always uncertain. Weather changes. Economic cycles are unpredictable. Disasters, accidents, and illness can change life quickly. These actions are largely beyond our control. But there are some things we can control, including how we spend our time each day.
God loves you,
and He is eager to guide you,
if we only remember to ask,
Alma 37: 37 ♡
I love that talk! Thanks for sharing your light!
