Hello dear reader!! If you’re here, I want to express a warm welcome!!

My name is Jae and the Hear Him thread is an inspired monthly gathering I created to help you and me, as Christian creatives, to hear the Spirit of Jesus Christ and to worship Him through fasting and sharing our work.

I believe that when we fast often and involve God in our creative work, we will be blessed in ways that only He knows we need.

🌿 Story of Us

For those who want to participate, you can join me in taking a social media fast for the first seven days (or however long you’d like for that week), beginning of every month! The Hear Him thread will be sent on that first week of the month as a reminder of the fasting and with a short devotional discussion from me. 🥹💌

Social media fasting will look different for everyone so I invite you to prayerfully consider what you can sacrifice to hear God better and increase His influence in your life.

You can always choose to fast from something else other than social media. I’ve fasted from music, watching streaming services, sweets, and anything else you can think of! Fasting from food for two meals or however long, is always another wonderful option if you’re up for it—I just chose medias as the main focus for my fast. 🩶

If you are unable to do a formal fast with us, a fast from the heart will always go a long way with the Spirit of God. So, please don’t hesitate to join us in our discussion. Everyone is welcome. 🫶🏼
