Proverbs 3: 5 - 6
Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
What does this remind you of?
I have so many thoughts… so let’s put them in numbers.
When it’s hard for me to breathe or I forget to, there is value in acknowledging how my body feels. Most likely I forget my body’s oxygen system due to valid concerns (mostly unnecessary) and spiraling anxiety. This creates a golden opportunity to write all my concerns down like a list, and then write all the solid solutions for each one. If you’re feeling a little brave, you’ll find that there are more solutions than there are problems you’ve listed. An absolutely powerful practice to turn to indeed!
Choose joy, just because!
If something is important to you and you really want to do it (and deep down inside you know it will help you grow) BUT it’s extremely scary to do because you know it will take you out of your comfort zone BUT it also kind of makes you feel excited - the great decision you make to step beyond the fear is an open door to the person you want to become. It will help you become stronger. It will help you learn to rediscover big love, over and over again.
Trust in Him and He will direct thy paths. There is purpose in your suffering. Fire tests gold, suffering tests (wo)man - (a quote by someone I don’t know). It was mentioned in a super cool Netflix show called Wednesday.
Taking charge of bettering myself. It’s good to ask for the help you need - because frankly, the Lord will provide a way. Always. No fail.
Below is a lovely video on inspiring invitations on how you and I can light the world this year by remembering the matchless birth and life of Jesus Christ. Happy almost Christmas! Share this video if you feel like it! :’)
